Last fall I studied abroad in Rome and the best class I took was called “Traffickers, Theives, & Forgery: Art Crime.” It was an amazing course with a great professor who is the leading expert in the world when it comes to art crime. Listen to him talk on NPR’s ThinkĀ about the Ghent Altarpiece, the world’s most stolen work of art. (Not just for art or history buffs! This is such a fascinating story.)
